Google Play Policies Updates Shows Apps Will Have More Responsibilities

The news app now needs to identify responsible publishers. The rule will now be a more detailed contact than a contact website. They can no longer have spelling errors and outdated publications.

The updates change the rules for cash betting applications. They must follow the gambling rules of the countries where the users located.

The Google document reveals a policy that tends to more responsible to developers.

The number of apps on the store surpassed 3 million in 2017. Retractions caused the number to drop. Today the store has 2,978,415 applications.

In this scenario that tends to be more competitive in a market that is only growing.

The new 2020 balances show the pandemic accelerated this market growth in up to three years.

There were 218 billion downloads in the year — the hours on Android bits the 3.5 trillion.

According to App Annie, consumers put $143 billion on apps, up 20% year-on-year. The ads moved another $240 billion.
